Hopeful is the 3rd song in what I personally call the Progression Series (along with Probably and Yesterday). The series is called as such because a) all songs in the series have the same chord progression, and b) it has a seasonal theme, and seasons progress through the year, something like that ✨
This song has been my personal favorite within the series, both lyrically and instrumentally. Or maybe that was the depression talking. Whatever it is, I think it's a cool song 👍
By the way, this is also one of the songs I'm currently making a remake for! Wahoo!
