Maya, with her best friends Jamie and Ren, make plans on how to spend their entire 8th Grade together, as it may be the last time they'll be going to the same school together.
However, on the first day of their planned get-together, they accidentally stumble upon another realm.
After an encounter with an unknown creature, a sudden change threw their plans for a loop.
"...So the rumors were real after all?!"
With this discovery, will Maya be able to have a peaceful last year?

Other than that, hello! This is a story that I've written back when I was still at Junior High, and has gone through several changes throughout the years.
Originally, this was known as Childhood Tales, or Project:CT.
It was also originally planned as a novel series spanning 10 books (?!), an ambitious feat due to overconfidence in my part for finishing Book 1 within a year π
Yet here I am, changing it into another format. Ah, how times have changed...
While a lot of the plot stuff has been changed and adjusted (to make them less angsty and make more sense, hopefully), the premise remains quite the same: a group of high schoolers discovering a hidden world only they knew.
While I can't say I've put a lot of thought (or brainrot, rather) on everything that's gonna happen here, I can at least say that I've put a pretty big part of myself in the making of this.
I just hope I manage to finish it to the end this time, though π₯
(By the way, if you've known me or this story from that era, I apologize in advance if any of the characters or events here are different from what you've remembered. The old version was... Something π«
But hopefully the changes are nice enough to make up for it!
Maybe someday, if I don't cringe at it anymore, I might share the original drafts for everyone to enjoy. Or roast. Whatever you wanna do LMAO π)

LOCATIONS
Sazanka International Academy
A school located in a port town in Yokohama. While the school has been established fairly new, it has earned enough achievements to be recognized internationally.
However, the school has an odd rule every student has to follow: no student must stay within the academy premises after 4 pm. The reasons for this rule are unknown, which does not help the rumors being spread around about it.
The "Other Side"
No one knows what triggers these realms to appear, or how it is created. What is only known is that how each "Other Side" looks varies based on the Wanderer hosting the realm. (Or at least that's what has been observed so far.)
Currently, Maya and her friends have been the only ones able to access the Other Side.
Other Minor Locations
> Cafe Oisillon - A cafe located near the campus, making it a popular hangout spot for students after school. It is ran by the Shinomiyas, and Ren helps out from time to time, especially during weekends.
> University of Saint Jerome - Laboratory High School (USJ-LHS) - A high school selected to be part of the Annual Student Exchange Program. Mark studies here.
