PERSONAL COMMENTARY

Until Spring Comes Again is a song written for Symphony of Seasons, a charity UTAU album for Artificial Ensemble. This song, along with 9 more tracks, is available for purchase on Bandcamp, and its proceeds will go to the Depression and Bipolar Alliance, a non-profit organization that helps support people with depression or bipolar disorders.

This is the second album that I have joined within the project, the first being Guidance. Similar to that song, all the producers were given a theme to work on. For this album, it was seasons, and the season assigned to me was winter.

I'm gonna be honest here, I'm not actually 100% satisfied with how the song turned out. I had so many ideas that I wanted to work on (such as a story of a kid befriending a creature made out of snow), but because of the hectic school year and my gradually declining mental health, the song turned out to be a bit more melancholic than it was supposed to be. The instrumental was also supposed to be for something else, but reconsidered after I made my friends listen to some of the WIPs I've made and have them suggest what winter means for them (in where I live, there's only 2 seasons).

Overall, this song became a bit of a vent song, and I might remake this sometime in the future, and fix up everything, including the incoherent lyrics.
