Guidance is a song written for Minutes to Memories, a charity UTAU album for Project Sonata (now called Artificial Ensemble). This song, along with 12 more tracks, is available for purchase on Bandcamp, and its proceeds will go to the Depression and Bipolar Alliance, a non-profit organization that helps support people with depression or bipolar disorders.
For this album, producers and their respective artists were given a hex code and were free to interpret it as they wish. For me and my partner, Juno, the color given to us was #ffe579, a slightly pale yellow. At first, I thought of making a very energetic, fun song, but then eventually scrapped that concept because I can't get it to work... I eventually then took a WIP I've been wanting to work on, and started from there!
For the theme, I took inspiration from Tokimeki Bunruigaku by AZALEA from Aqours (for the simple-to-complex transition of the song) and Serendipity by BTS (the MV had a really good aesthetic, and was also yellow! Just in time!).
And so was the song made! I'm really glad that this song received good responses too!
