PERSONAL COMMENTARY

Train of Thoughts was written back around the same time Probably was made. It was supposed to be the second song I've released, but at the time, I didn't know a lot about using UTAU in English. When I was finally introduced by fellow Vocalsynth fans into using English banks, that was when I finally decided to just go through with releasing song, as a way to somehow 'honor' past me's effort in making a song πŸ˜‚

Everything in this song, except for the vocals and PV, was practically the same as it was back when I first made it! This is basically a glimpse of 15-year-old me XD

Oh yeah, fun fact: I showed these lyrics to my English teacher's substitute back then, I remember him saying "This is a pretty neat poem!" I also remember being a bit pissed off that time, but honestly I think he should've roasted me more πŸ₯²

LYRICS

There is a melody softly playing

Across a field from far away

It reminds me of a lullaby

Though I cannot hear it clearly

(Oooh,

I cannot understand)

Only my feet made marks in this land

Unrecognized, I was never really known

The memories I created here

Are unforgettable,

But still...

Hear this song of sadness

A dissonant mix between emptiness and despair

Read these unsent, faded letters

Saying what I can't say, what words cannot explain

Doot do root doot doot doo

Na nana na na

Na nana na na

Naa...

From far away, someone is singing

A nostalgic tune never heard since years ago

But even though I tried to stop crying

It all came back to me,

The pain...

Listen to this lonely song

An imperfect harmony descending to nothing

Read these unwritten, faded papers

Telling you a story that can never be told

Dut da rut dut dut da

La lala la la

La lala la la

Laa...

At least, my eyes were opened

Before it was too late

Probably, probably back then I was scared

But now, the darkness is over now

I've fallen before

But the train ride isn't over yet

There's still miles to go, may places to pass through

The next stop, maybe I should go take a look

And send away,

This letter I've written to-

Hear this song of sadness

A dissonant mix between emptiness and despair

Read these unsent, faded letters

Saying what I can't say, what words cannot explain

Listen to this lonely song

An imperfect harmony descending to nothing

Read these unwritten, faded papers

Telling you a story I kept to myself

Doot do root doot doot doo

Na nana na na

Na nana na na

Hear this song of sadness...

Listen to this lonely song...
