FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
(Except no one's asking this, but let me have this shhhhh)
Q: Can I make a cover/animatic/remix of your work?
A: As long as you link back to this page or any of the official releases, I'm alright with it!
Oh and gimme a link too so I could share with other people :D
Also it's probably a given but please do not use it for any other purposes (the spread of hateful content, political promotions, stuff like that).
Commercial production of any content (aka mass-produced goods) is a BIG NO NO!!!
Ask me first if you plan to release or use it somewhere other than YouTube!
If you wanna ask more about anything, feel free to contact me through the other social media linked here!
Q: Where can I support your works?
A: Thank you for showing interest! That means a lot to me 🥹
Currently, I have a YouTube channel where I upload videos of my works, and a BandCamp where you can download the songs!
...Or song. There's only one so far, but more will be added, swear ðŸ˜
Q: What do you use to make your stuff?
A: Here's some links to get you started!
- Cakewalk by BandLab - unfortunately this one has been discontinued due to BandLab pushing for monetized versions of this product. The link will take you to the official website, but I don't know where else you'd be able to install the free version. Unless you sail the seven seas, which I definitely do not condone and look away from *coughs*
- LMMS - a free program for when you wanna start making small tunes! A big con is that it doesn't have an audio recorder, so you'll have to do it separately, then import it on the program. Other than that, it's pretty good!
- Reaper - Another free program you can compose in. To be honest I don't use this, but it's helpful for recording and editing vocals and other audio files. The catch is that you'll have to find instruments by yourself, as this program doesn't come with them.
- musicLine - an Android app where it's basically a phone MIDI composer! You can also export your projects as MIDI then import it to your program of choice.
- OpenUtau - an alternative for the vocal synth program UTAU, but with better updates and an easier workflow. Just like UTAU itself, you'll have to look for voice banks to use on your own. I recommend the UTAU Wiki to look for banks you wanna use!
- Krita - my art program of choice! Not only is it free, there's also a lot you can do with it!
- FireAlpaca - another free art program, but is more lightweight! Though with a bit less features, but hey, it gets the job done!
- AviUtl - a free video editor. You can do lots of cool stuff with it, but the learning curve is a bit steep. The link will bring you to the download page for the Extra Pack version, which has been translated to English and preloaded with some effects. If you can understand Japanese and want to try that out, then download it from here.
MORE ANSWERS WILL BE ADDED WHEN THE NEED ARRIVES!
